BBM update- Chat with your contacts without knowing their PINs

Wondering what that means?<br />
This means you can now chat with contacts on your phone without actually having their BBMpin.<br />

Using <a href="http://phonetechng.blogspot.com/2015/04/how-to-activate-whatsapp-vioce-call-on_4.html">whatsapp</a> as a casestudy:,<br />
You know that with whatsapp you can chat with all contacts saved on your mobile phone, so far they contacts are registered on whatsapp.<br />

People who you haven’t accepted their request on BBM, cannot see your BBM profile picture,cannot see your BBM status updates and can neither make nor receive calls with you via BBM voice.With these, you will have acces to BBM contacts(normal BBM contacts) and ‘Contacts’(your phone contacts who use BBM)<br />

This is good development, and personally, I believe it will reduce the time spent trying to access BBM and whatsapp simultaneously, Since I acn now accessand message these contacts on BBM. Let's hear your view about this new feature. Kindly use the comment form below this post.<br />

What is BBM Custom PIN?<br />

To get started, make sure you are running the latest BBM software on your device. (The latest BBM update is currently available for BlackBerry, Android and iOS. and BlackBerry 10 smartphones. iOS users will receive the update soon).<br />

The <a href="http://blogs.blackberry.com/2015/03/getting-started-custom-pins/">Custom PIN</a> Subscription is a new feature found exclusively on BBM which allows new and existing users to create their own personalized BBM PIN. New contacts can add you to BBM using this Custom PIN, making adding new contacts easier than ever.With a <a href="http://www.nairaland.com/2174598/how-get-bbm-custom-pins">Custom PIN</a> subscription you can make a PIN that’s easy for you and your friends to remember (e.g your nickname,businessname) and/or says something special about you<a href="http://www.techsng.com/2015/05/with-bbm-latest-version-bbm-pins-are-no-longer-private.html">. </a><br />
<br />
-They must be 6-8 digits alphanumeric PIN (can include numbers and letters only).<br />
-Special characters cannot be used<br />
